Lazy Days of Summer

The kids and Bella are enjoying their days of doing nothing this summer. If we have nowhere to be this is where they hang...we miss having a pool at fingers reach in PHX and all the hours upon hours we spent last summer getting tan and swimming so this was a must have to them...they were very disappointed with the size :)
On a different note...Now that I have accomplished braids in Pais hair the fun has not stopped. Today we did 2 fish tails in her hair. I am by no means a professional but we have been having lots of fun lately "experimenting" all the fun different ways we can do her hair. A girl (Valorie) who we go to church with has 3 heads of girls hair to do and every time I see them they are perfect looking...Valorie I admire you! Pais and I thought this one today turned out fun...now if only I can get those perfect straight lines in her part.

We are going to attempt a star pattern in her hair she saw done for the 4th of July...so stay tuned maybe we will post it!

I Love Ya Lots Mommacita!

This post is to let my mommacita know how much I love her! My mom is not only the best mom ever, but she is also the best grandma and one of my best friends. I think she did a fantastic job raising me until I was about 12 and then we raised each other ;) Some of the best moments I can recall include her! I wish I could have an ounce of her organization, cooking, ironing, wifey, gardening, mothering, and crafty skills. I am truly lucky to have her to look up to and have been blessed that she has helped me develop many of my own talents.
I LOVE YA MOMMACITA!!!!
Today is what we'll call phase 1 in treating her colon cancer. Please keep her in your prayers and thoughts, as well as my dad.
Get better fast mom...I'll be there in less then a month and we have some lunch dates and shopping to catch up on.

A MAJOR Milestone!!!

Every mom anxiously awaits little milestones in their kids lives...
today one of ours was reached!
DRUMMMM ROLLLLLL PLEASE...
After 4 1/2 LONG years I was FINALLY able to put lil Miss P Bops hair in
french braids!!! Not one but TWO! Words do not
express my excitement nor joy
in this accomplishment!
I have envied Alisha for having girls with tons of hair
(I know thy shall not covet other childrens hair)
and every time I see her hairy lil kids I
braid, comb, style, and torture them...
finally it's Paisley's turn!
FINALLY!!!
