Hookers...

My 5 year old is an "expert on hookers!"
Yes, you read that right and it came straight from his mouth. Before you judge me read and you'll understand why.
As soon as we arrived in Utah Easton started asking for Grandpa to come home from work because he was bringing him home a "hooker" Goodness kids grow up so fast right? Well the "hooker" was taken care of and I thought nothing else about it because the "hooker" was no longer discussed for a few days. A few days later a very upset, disappointed, and frustrated Easton came in explaining Grandpa gave him a "bad hooker" and he needed a new one, because the other "hooker" didn't work when he backed up. Grandma explained he would have to wait until Grandpa got home from work. Not even 5 minutes later a very excited and proud Easton came and informed me he was an "expert on hookers" because he was able to fix that "bad hooker" on his own.
Curiosity killed the cat and I walked outside armed with my camera to see what a "hooker" was and this is what I found...

Hooker: an object, preferably a very thick piece of wire Grandpa bends so a 5 year old and his uncle can hook a wagon to a car and pull things.
(PHEW! Thankfully that's all it was)
Thanks dad for teaching Easton about "hookers" one less conversation for Ben and I to tackle.

Sure glad that Dad could help you out in Easton's education! Gald too that the hooker finally met with E's approval--sure got him and me frustrated until the final product was produced. Remember that he came in and said he had a "new and Improved" hooker? That kid cracks me up. Have to say that my eyebrows raised a litttle when he said Grandpa was bringing him home a hooker! I've known Grandpa for a very long time but have never known him to associate with "hookers". Glad Easton set us all straight with hardware for the pedal car! Good for Grandpa's long term well being too!! Much cheaper and more eco friendly!!!!;);)

LOVE it and I LOVE that boy! I noticed there were a lot of "hookers' hanging around at dads.
