I haven't posted in FOREVER and not much but a ton has happened since my last post so here's a recap for ya'll.
Ben turned the big old man age of 27, got approved for Laser eye surgery (now he can turn his Aviation packet in as soon as it gets done on March 2nd) and he made the Captain's list. Congrats on all of that schnookums!
I took a job at Memorial Hospital and am currently working Tue, Wed, and Thu nights over on the peds side...and let me tell ya its rough and Im tired but I love taking care of the babies and kids soooo much more then adults, I also got called to the Relief Society Presidency as the Enrichment Counselor (2nd counsler) hopefully I can get adjusted to working nights and do some fun things with that new calling. Life for me feels a lil nuts and I have been told lately Im being a bad friend soooooo Im sorry but we're busy and Ben and the kiddos get my extra time for now...hope everyone can cut us a lil slack!
Easton has mastered writing his last name...and boy hes pretty proud! Hes also learning to read and doing great...he was having such a hard time with blending but since Christmas break he has made tons of progress! I must admit I was pretty proud when we sat down with his lil book and he knew the words. Boy is he getting big! He also is signed up for Baseball and is super excited for that...all he talks about is getting a glove...hopefully he wil make his Grandpa proud and be a baseball player!
Both of the kids have kept us pretty dang busy with being sick but Pais has taken the crown! She has had a few ear infections, mono (yeah where did she get that!?!) pink eye, and a few sinus infections and so now all of that has put her on the list to get her tonsils and adnoids out. Poor girl, not sure when the surgery will be yet. Pais has also started at a lil school in the neighborhood and is loving every minute of it and mastering her letters! She kinda writes her name but it depends on the day and her mood.
That's whats been happening since we went MIA...I'm sure I'm forgetting stuff and hopefully the computer will be fixed ASAP so I can blog more. We've missed yall on here!
OOH and Im still off diet coke...even working nights I havent caved!
